My name is Anan Anwar and I'm 29 Years old. I'm from Thailand and I've been training for 10 years.

I think of myself as quite the polymath, a sort of Jack of all trades. I've called myself freerunner, dancer, inline skater, wakeboarder, entrepreneur, pop singer, soap actor, lady killer, life winner!

Where and how do you live?
I live in Bangkok, and i ingest food and water to survive. In my free time i pretend life as a freerunner is harder then it really is by playing an excessive amount of video games, rock climbing and surfing an artificial wave in the centre of Bangkok for fun and relaxation.

What does Freerunning mean to you? What excites you about it?
Freerunning to me means realizing my own potential and expressing myself. What i love about freerunning is its both a sport and an art. You can really push yourself as an athlete but also enjoy being a creator and a performer. And theres no wrong way to be a freerunner, you just have to choose YOUR way.

How did you join Team Farang?
I had no choice! Before we knew we were a team we were just friends from different countries who had a lot in common. We all loved freerunning, traveling to new places, and enjoyed making fun and inspiring videos. Once a year we would get together in Thailand and train and travel through Thailand filming everything we did.

The name Team Farang started as a funny video title, an inside joke really. Eventually, before we knew what was going on, we had an audience online calling us Team Farang and eagerly awaiting our next adventure.

Favorite Food?
Japanese! I could eat Sushi forever!

Favorite place?
Santorini is pretty amazing, LA is a shit ton of fun, but Bangkok is still home.

Biggest obsession outside of Freerunning?
With a touch of shame, I'm a huge Counter Strike addict. I've clocked over a thousand hours of game time this year.

You could swap lives with somebody for a day, who and why?
Pharrell. Other then the fact that he's an awesome cool dude and hugely talented, i just wanna know what its like to see sounds.

 Where will you be when you're 50?
Probably in the ground, i'm 28 already! (who thinks of these question?) 

Favorite posession?
I love my rubix cube, i can solved that thing for hours over and over again.

What are your favorite Freerunning shoes?
At the moment I'm enjoying the K-swiss SI-18's for the cushioning, but onitsuka tigers are a close 2nd. 

What can you not travel without?
A good audio book and my Bluetooth headphones.

What's your vision for freerunning's future?
It's one of the few sports that you really don't need much to enjoy and benefit from, and a part of us already knows how to play and enjoy movement, we just bury it deep as we grow up. I'd like to see a future where everyone will get a chance to enjoy there own bodies the way we do and that truly talented freerunners can make a living inspiring the rest of us.
