As we were looking to 90s Martial Arts movies for inspiration one peculiarity of Japan caught our
attention.
People and businesses here don’t use signatures, instead everybody has their own inkan. A unique
stamp-like seal that is usual a minimal design based on the owner’s name, but often surpisingly
stylized.
What would that look like for Farang? We worked with Matyas, an artist and Parkourist from the
Czech Republic, who created the design featured on our Disciple Tee.
